ARKADY GHOUKASYAN: FUTURE PRESIDENT OF NKR TO ASSUME FULL LIABILITY FOR CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

"I am leaving the NKR president's post with a feeling of executed
debt", NKR President Arkady Ghoukasyan said today, voting at one of
the polling stations of Stepanakert.
He added that it did not succeed to do everything, of course.
Commenting on the statement of CE representative on non-recognition of
the election in NKR, the president sad: "If the world community does
not recognize the electoral processes in our republic, let it propose
an alternative, or Ghoukasyan should proclaim himself Turkmanbashi
and govern for fifty years", he said and added that NKR is holding
the election for its people and not for the world community.
Touching on the statements of the contender Masis Mailyan's
headquarters about violations during the election campaign, the
president said that he has got acquainted with them personally. He
thinks "they bear nothing serious in them". "These are only fairy
tales, devised by those who feel beaten. Unfortunately, the black PR
reached Karabakh from Armenia as well, while the negative from Turkey
and Azerbaijan is more than enough", A. Ghoukasyan said. He thinks
that the future president of NKR will assume the full liability for
settlement of the Karabakh conflict and will do the best to include
NKR in the negotiation process.
