ARMENIA'S PRESIDENT AND U.S. CHARGE D'AFFAIRES DISCUSS ISSUES OF BILATERAL INTERSTATE COOPERATION

YEREVAN, July 20. /ARKA/. Armenia's President Robert Kocharyan and
U.S. Charge d'Affaires Rudolf Perina during their Friday meeting
discussed the agenda of the Armenian-American relation, the President's
press service reported.
Perina who was OSCE MG Co-Chair in 2001-2004 pointed out that he is
happy to return to Armenia and serve for the sake of the development
of the Armenian-American relations.
Kocharyan expressed confidence that Perina's knowledge of Armenia and
the region as a whole will contribute to the successful implementation
of his mission and establishment of a constructive cooperation.
During the conversation the sides also discussed regional issues.
