On July 20th of this year, press-conference of the American delegation
participated with obsetrvant mission on presidential elections of NKR
took place in NKR permenant mission in RA. The observers emphasized
that they estimated the presidential elections taken place on July
19th in NKR as free, just and transparent and corresponding to the
NKR Constitution and international standarts.
The members of delegation have informed that they had followed the
elections taken place in 2002 and 2005, and consider that the elections
of July 19 were the best from the point of view of organization and
improvement of electoral processes. According to the written conclusion
of American observers, they have carried out supervision on 50 polling
districts in NKR, had meetings with the presidential candidates,
members of CEC, ordinary voters and NKR management. The head of the
mission Vladimir Matich has informed, that they will present the report
to a number of the international organizations and to the USA Congress.
