ZHARANGUTIUN PARTY NOT TO TAKE PART IN FIRST SITTING OF NEWLY ELECTED PARLIAMENT

YEREVAN, JUNE 6, NOYAN TAPAN. The Zharangutiun (Heritage) party in
written form informed the RA NA Speaker Tigran Torosian about the
party's not taking part in the first sitting of the National Assembly
of fourth convocation to be held on June 6.
In the letter, in particular, it is said: "According to the
requirement of the constitution, the first sitting of the NA of fourth
convocation has not been held yet: till this moment the Heritage has
not properly received a notification about the invitation and other
details of that sitting as it is proper to a legal state. Moreover,
at present the Constitutional Court is considering the issue of
validity of the NA elections, which will get its final answer till
June 10. Proceeding from these reasonings, the Heritage lets you know
about the impossibility of its presence in the NA sittings until the
solution of the above mentioned problems."
