OSCE MG FRENCH CO-CHAIR: NAGORNO-KARABAKH'S PARTICIPATION IN THE PEACE PROCESS WILL BECOME INEVITABLE AT A CERTAIN STAGE

"Nagorno-Karabakh's participation in the peace process will become
inevitable at a certain stage," OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair Bernard
Fassier (France) said at a press-conference in Yerevan, Thursday.
According to him, the sooner Nagorno-Karabakh is involved in the
process, the better. The Co-chairs expressed their opinion to the
Azeri side. "At the moment, the issue is being considered in general
outline, but when the talks touch upon the fate and future of NKR, its
participation in the talks will become inevitable", he noted. Asked why
the Co-chairs met NKR President Arkady Ghukassyan, B.Fassier replied:
"If we consider Nagorno-Karabakh's participation necessary, these
meetings are naturally necessary, too".
