JOHN DANILOVICH VISITS MOTHER SEE OF HOLY ETCHMIADZIN

June 12 in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin the Catholicos of
All Armenians Karekin II received Ambassador John Danilovich, Chief
Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
"We are glad that such assistance is rendered to the Armenian economy
in the framework of the Millennium Challenge Compact. Truly, great
is the support you render to our people today," His Holiness noted,
welcoming John Danilovich's visit to Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
and expressing his approval of the activity of the Millennium Challenge
Corporation.
The Patriarch presented the mission of the Armenian Apostolic Church,
the history of establishment of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin -
the religious center of all Armenians, turned to the challenges and
difficulties of the Church and its current activity.
Thanking for reception, the MCC CEO presented the details of his
visit to Armenia and expressed appreciation for the results of the
work accomplished in this period. "We are sure this Compact will be
of great use for the Armenian population," Mr. Danilovich said.
