FFA OFFICIAL ARMEN MINASYAN: MORATINOS'S PROPOSAL ON ARMENIA - AZERBAIJAN MATCH VENUE SHOWS ONLY GOOD INTENTION

"We are aware of Miguel Anhel Moratinos's proposal on Armenia
- Azerbaijan matches. This should be considered only as a good
intention", stated Armen Minasyan, executive director of Football
Federation of Armenia, APA-Sport reports.
Minasyan highly appreciated Spanish foreign minister's proposal made
during visits to Baku and Yerevan. Nevertheless, he underscored that
final decision will be passed in UEFA conference.
"We have stated many times that UEFA Executive Committee will make
final decision on the venue of Armenia - Azerbaijan matches", he said.
Euro qualifying matches between Azerbaijan and Armenia have been
scheduled for 8 and 12 September. UEFA Executive Committee will pass
a decision on June 22.
