PROCESS OF CENTRALIZED EXAMS TO BE ALSO VIDEOD

YEREVAN, JUNE 14, NOYAN TAPAN. "We are content with the results of
the process of united examination in Armenian Language, Literature,"
Ara Avetisian, RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science, reported at
the June 14 press conference adding that next year exams in some other
subjects will be also held by the united system. In his words, holding
of exams by the new system, including videoing of the examinations
process, will contribute to reduction of corruption risks in the
system. The Deputy Minister said that during exams held in another
subjects by centralized system this year video cameras will be also
placed in all examination rooms.
A. Avetisian also said that purposeful entrance will be held this year,
too, on the line of pedagogical, agrarian specialities. In the Deputy
Minister's words, the goal of this is to fill vacancies of teachers,
as well as veterinary surgeons, cattle-breeders in high mountainous
and border rural areas.
A. Avetisian also said that two new specialities, that of special
education and social pedagogy, have been introduced to Gyumri, Gavar
and Vanadzor Universities.
