AFTER PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION, REPUBLICAN PARTY OF ARMENIA IS IN STATE OF EUPHORIA: REPRESENTATIVE OF DASHINK PARTY

"After May 12 parliamentary election, the Republican party of Armenia,
which received the majority of the deputy mandates, is in a state of
euphoria and does not show understanding of responsibility which is
laid on it both in the internal and foreign policy", member of the
Political Council of "Dashink" party Gnel Glechyan told ArmInfo.

He said that the ruling party does not show a due anxiety and intention
to take the relevant steps aimed at solution of problems of current
    importance.

All the talks are directed not to the search of mechanisms for their
solution but to assignment of posts of different level, Glechyan
said. The oppositionist does not pin great hopes on the new programme
of the government, submitted today to the Parliament since the matter,
in fact, concerns the policy of the old government. "A difficult
task is set to the government of Serzh Sargsyan, that is, to achieve
serious successes in economy for a very short period of time as to
assure a successful result at the presidential election. However,
since the government is guided by the old policy and dos not offer
new approaches, its successes may be even more modest", G. Glechyan
said. He thinks the government of S. Sargsyan will raise the taxes
at best, which will be a heavier burden on a small and medium-sized
business. Finally, we shall have to state that as a result of using
the administrative levers, it succeeded to assure some economic growth
which will not point to the efficient work of the government and will
be of no real use for the people.
