THE STATE CJSC 'SPECIAL LINK' COMPLAINS ABOUT ZVARTNOTS AIRPORT

The state CJSC "Special link" applied to the Armenian Commission on
Economic Competition Protection with a complaint about very high prices
for the services given by the CJSC "Armenian International Airports".
As ArmInfo was informed from the Commission, CJSC "Armenian
International Airports" allows entry of motor vehicles of the CJSC
"Special link" at the territory of the Yerevan Zvartnots airport just
to the place of parking of airplanes which ship mail and parcels. Even
after the written application of Transport and Communication Ministry
the prices for services have not been reduced. In 2005 this service
cost 480thsd drams per month, but several moths ago it grew up to
1,2 mln drams. The commission started an administrative process on
the basis of this written complaint.
To recall, an agreement on giving of Zvartnots airport to concession
management of CJSC "Armenian International Airports", which belongs
to the Argentinean businessman Eduardo Eurnikyan, was signed with
Armenian government on December 17, 2001.
