ARCHBISHOP SEBOUH MEETS FORMER IRANIAN PRESIDENT KHATEMI
ON BEHALF OF HIS HOLINESS ARAM I
The Primate of the Diocese of Tehran, Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian, met
the former President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency
Mohammed Khatemi, on behalf of His Holiness Aram I. The Primate passed a
written message from the Armenian Catholicos to President Khatemi.
The Pontiff's delegate informed the former president of his proposals
regarding inter-faith dialogue. The Archbishop consulted President Khatemi
on plans for a new inter-faith project.
