NKR Presidnet Arkady Ghukasyan receive dteh delegation of Armenian
and Azerbaijani intellectuals headed by Armenian Ambassador to Russia
Armen Smbatyan and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Byul-Byul
Oghlu, Mediamax reports.
During the meeting issues related to the dialogue and establishment
of trust between the Karabakh conflict sides were discussed.
Arkady Ghukasyan stressed the importance of the Ambassador's
initiative, which, according to him, can create a healthy and
constructive atmosphere in the process of conflict resolution. The
NKR President confirmed the position of the Karabakhi side that the
artificially spread intolerance and the calls of war only hinder the
settlement process.
The participants of the meeting expressed hope that the dialogue
launched between the intellectuals will continue in the future and
will embrace broader circles of the society.
