juridical or natural persons. Fearing that the names of the famous
show business figures will be used without their consent by various
companies, the "owners" of the names register them as brands, thus
receiving a juridical shield.
"Philipp Kirkorov" brand was registered October 18, 1998 by "Alla"
privately owned enterprise controlled by Alla Pugacheva. The brand
registration expired February 4, 2007. Although it still functioning,
according to the e-base of the federal service of intellectual
property, patents and brands.
Proceeding from all above mentioned, you can make one conclusion: any
moment any person can file an application to the chamber of patent
disputes (a body at the federal service on intellectual property,
patents and brands) on pre-term suspension of legal protection of
"Alla Pugacheva" brand due to its disuse. After the chamber decides to
