    Mashdots College's 15th anniversary will be celebrated at a Gala
    Banquet on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Grand Ballroom of the
    Verdugo Hills Country Club, 400 W. Glenoaks, Glendale, California.
    Church and community leaders, public servants, benefactors,
    supporters, educators, as well as college Trustees, faculty, alumni,
    students, and parents will gather to salute the college's "15 Years of
    Excellence in Higher Education." On this joyous occasion, the Board of
    Trustees of the college will honor Dr. Garbis Der-Yeghiayan for his 30
    years of unprecedented visionary leadership and dedicated service to
    Armenian higher education in the United States. "We proudly salute him
    as a distinguished college president, multi-talented professor and
    exemplary community servant. We are immensely grateful for his unique
    contributions to the Armenian American community and to numerous
    American and international organizations. Through his boundless
    enthusiasm, tireless efforts, and unwavering commitment to his ideals,
    he has touched and enriched the lives of countless individuals in the
    United States, in Armenia and in other parts of the world", announced
    Dr. W. Donald Clague, Chairman of the Borad of Trustees of the
    College.

    On Friday, March 16, 2007 Dr. Der-Yeghiayan's very unique Photo-Expo
    will be presented at the Glendale Central Library Auditorium, 222 E.
    Harvard, Glendale, California. More than 150 photographs will be
    exhibited covering Armenian ancestral villages and cities in Cilicia,
    Cappadocia, and Historic Western Armenia. Admission is free.
