CHANGE OF ORINATS YERKIR'S REPRESENTATIVE ENVISAGED IN RA CEC
YEREVAN, MARCH 27, NOYAN TAPAN. Change of Orinats Yerkir (Country of
Law) Party representative in RA Central Electoral Commission (CEC) is
envisaged: OYP representative in CEC, Artashes Avoyan is nominated as
a candidate for deputacy by proportional system for the forthcoming
parliamentary elections.
As A. Avoyan informed Noyan Tapan correspondent, OYP leadership
applied to RA President's administration with the request to change
its representative in CEC.
According to RA Electoral Code, CEC staff is established by RA
President's decree, on the basis of proposals of bodies forming the
Commission.
A. Avoyan did not wish to mention the name of the person replacing him
in CEC until the respective decree is publicized. According to NT's
information, member of Party Board Sona Sargsian will represent OYP in
CEC instead of him.
