RPA WILL NOT FAKE ELECTIONS

On May 4 the Hayeli Club hosted Suren Abrahamyan, a member of the
Republic Party and Rafik Petrosyan, a member of the Republican Party.
Suren Abrahamyan thinks after Andranik Margaryan's death the Republican
Party has become more vulnerable.
"The only active member of the Republican Party is Serge Sargsyan. It
is not a campaign for the parliamentary election; they are preparing
an image for him for the presidential election."
Suren Abrahamyan stated that the Republican Party is responsible for
the atmosphere in the country. "The Republican Party's slogan "For You
Armenia" cannot become reality as long as Robert Kocharyan and Serge
Sargsyan are the government heads together with their semi-criminal
and semi-oligarchic system."
The Republic Party offers to change the government first and then
go on to solve the problems that exist in different spheres because
"if we come to power, we will also become scoundrels if there is no
popular control. Let people elect, even if they make a mistake and
elect the one who does not deserve."
Suren Abrahamyan thinks in a fair election the ruling parties,
the Bargavach Hayastan Party, the Republican Party and the ARF
Dashnaktsutyun, will be a parliament minority. And if the election
is unfair, it will be necessary to return power to people under the
pressure of people, and in this case more than three parties will
demand a change of government.
Rafik Petrosyan thinks the way of changing the government is to win
the election, while "the calls of the Impeachment Alliance to change
the government are unconstitutional; therefore it is possible that
certain people may be responsible." Suren Abrahamyan noted that the
members of Impeachment are literate enough not to make unconstitutional
calls. The representative of the Republic Party believes that the
election will be unfair and Rafik Petrosyan will be far from it. "The
criminal grassroots will falsify. I run in the election not for a
mandate or an office but for returning my share of the state that
has been stolen from me in vote."
