BRILLIANT SUCCESS OF ARMENIAN CHESS-PLAYERS INSPIRING FOR MANY PEOPLE
YEREVAN, MAY 4, NOYAN TAPAN. On May 4, RA President Robert Kocharian
received Chairman of International Chess Federation Kirsan
Ilyumzhinov, world chess champion Vladimir Kramnik and world
cup-winner Levon Aronian. According to the report provided to Noyan
Tapan from RA President's Press Office, Chairman of Armenian Chess
Federation, Prime Minister Serge Sargsian also took part in the
meeting.
Greeting holding of unprecedented tournament of two strongest
chess-players of the world in Armenia, RA President wished them
success and wished such tournaments to become traditional.
In R. Kocharian's words, the latest brilliant success of Armenian
chess-players, their victories following one another have become an
inspiring example for many pepole and increased willingness to be be
engaged in chess.
