TIGRAN TOROSYAN CONGRATULATES THE NATION ON VICTORY DAY

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Tigran Torosyan issued
a message on the occasion of the Victory Day. The message says:
"Dear compatriots,
I congratulate you in the occasion of the most favorite and dearest
holidays of our people -the Victory and Peace Day.
May has been a glorious month of struggles throughout the 20th century
due to the continuous feats of several generations, the peak of which
became the liberation of Shoushi and Artsakh as a whole.
This holiday is the most beloved, since it enabled us to regain
our commendable position and peace, became a symbol of the glorious
victories and longevity of our people.
This holiday is the dearest, because it was attained through the
self-sacrifice and heroism of hundreds of Armenians and ensured the
opportunity for our people to live in peace.
This holiday is the most obliging, because bowing before the memory
of soldiers and commanders that fell for the sake of this Day, we
must fulfill their dreams - safe Motherland, thriving country and
prospering people.
Once again I congratulate you on the Victory and Peace Day and wish
you new victories for the sake of peace, prosperity and happiness."
