State Senator Jack Scott and Assemblymembers Anthony Portantino and Paul
Krekorian are seeking nominations for the 8th Annual "Women In Business"
Awards to be held September 28 at the Castaway in Burbank. This is a
chance to honor businesswomen in the local area who contribute to the
economic vitality of our communities.

Nominees must live or work in either the 21st Senate District, or the
43rd or 44th Assembly Districts which include Altadena, Arcadia,
Burbank, Duarte, Glendale, La Canada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Monrovia,
Pasadena, parts of Los Angeles, San Gabriel, South Pasadena, Temple
City, Toluca Lake and portions of the S.F. valley.

There are 11 different categories for nominations from corporate
business to non-profit and inspirational. The deadline for nominations
