OSCE MG Co-chairs on Karabakh conflict settlement will meet OSCE
Chair-in-Office, FM of Spain Miguel Angel Moratinos in Madrid
May 10. The same day, the mediators will arrive in Strasbourg to
meet the Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov. The meeting with RA
FM Vardan Oskanyan will be held d on May 11, E. Mammadyarov told
journalists. He recalled that the President of Azerbaijan disclosed
the key principles of negotiations last week. However, some issues
are still to be specified. Therefore, we shall meet in Strasbourg and
present our position. We shall see what the Armenian position will be,
the Minister said.
Mammadayrov called Armenia's statements, saying Azerbaijan will make
concessions, "ridiculous". According to him, such statements are
intended for "inner use" on the threshold of election in Armenia. He
said Azerbaijan proceeds at negotiations from standards of the
International Law, the UN resolutions and OSCE decisions. He also
informed of the coming visit of OSCE Chair-in-Office to the region.
