AMONG WINNERS BY MAJORITARIAN SYSTEM ARE GAGIK TSARUKIAN FROM BH,
RUBEN HAYRAPETIAN FROM RPA, RUSTAM GASPARIAN NOMINATED BY CIVIL

YEREVAN, MAY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. Names of some candidates nominated by
majoritarian system who won the May 12 elections have become
known. Below the names of winners are mentioned with capital letters:
According to Noyan Tapan's information, at electoral district N 1
(Avan -Nor Nork) HAYRAPETIAN RUBEN (RPA) received 12178 votes, Igitian
Hovhannes (ANM) 5650 votes.
At electoral district N 2 (Nor Nork) Baklachian Arshak (Armenian
Homeland Party) received 1076 votes, PETROSIAN RAFIK (RPA) 14215
votes, Farmanian Samvel (OYP) 8396 votes, Kostanian Garegin (National
Unity Party) 4712 votes.
At electoral district N 21 (Armavir and regions) GASPARIAN RUSTAM
(civil initiative) received 16092 votes, Petrosian Alexan (RPA) 13975
votes, Alexanian Artashes (Youth Party of Armenia) 1200 votes.
At electoral district N 22 (Gavar and regions) ARZAKANTSIAN TIGRAN
(RPA) received 21862 votes, Malkhasian Robert (civil initiative) 5862
votes.
At electoral district N 24 (Martuni and villages) Sargsian Khoren
(National Unity Party) received 7902 votes, HAKOBIAN HAKOB (RPA) 19257
votes, Barseghian Koryun (Dashink Party) 5285 votes.
At electoral district N 28 (Abovian-Arinj) the only candidate
nominated, TSARUKIAN GAGIK (BH), received 31221 votes, 1032 voters
voted against, 959 ballot-papers were recognized as invalid.
In addition to this, according to Radio Liberty, the following
candidates were elected:
At electoral district N 30 non-partisan VIKTOR DALLAKIAN (14657 votes,
his main rival, non-partisan Vahram Baghdasarian 11988 votes).
At electoral district N 5 LEVON SARGSIAN (RPA). Levon Sargsian
received 12397 votes and his main rival, Chairman of Liberal
Progressive Party of Armenia, Hovhannes Hovhannisian 6886 votes.
At electoral district N 2 RAFIK PETROSIAN (14215 votes). Chairman of
Orinats Yerkir Party's Youth Union Samvel Farmanian is in the second
place (8396 votes).
At electoral district N 3 ASHOT TONOYAN (15713 votes, his main rival,
MP, Chairman of Democratic Way Party Manuk Gasparian 13338 votes).
At electoral district N 9 RUBEN SADOYAN (11125 votes, non-partisan MP
Napoleon Azizian 6206 votes, MP, Vice-Chairman of Orinats Yerkir Party
Mher Shahgeldian 4928 votes, candidate of Youth Party of Armenia Vahan
Babayan 1089 votes, candidate of Union of National Democrats Karen
Vardanian 1140 votes).
