IN RUBEN BABAYAN'S WORDS, MINISTRY OF CULTURE SHOULD BE DEPOLITICIZED

YEREVAN, MAY 15, NOYAN TAPAN. "We are deeply convinced that culture in
Armenia should be depoliticized. Having the experience of last years
when Ministers of Culture quickly replaced one another for these
or those reasons, not managing either to initiate or to implement
any strategic program, as a result of which the whole structure
registers no progress and does not take part in reforms, we propose
depoliticizing the Ministry of Culture, too, by the example of Defence
and Foreign Ministries." This was mentioned in the report provided
to Noyan Tapan by Ruben Babayan, Chairman of National Theatrical
Creative Union.
In his words, the organization is going to submit this issue for new
RA government's consideration.
