AUSTRIA PREPARED TO ASSIST ARMENIA WITH REFORM IMPLEMENTATION

YEREVAN, MAY 15, NOYAN TAPAN. The newly appointed Austrian ambassador
extraordinary and plenipotentiaryt to Armenia Marius Calligaris
(residence - Vienna) on May 15 handed over his credentials to the
Armenian president Robert Kocharian. According to a press release of
the RA president's press service, then the sides discussed issues
related to extension of Armenian-Austrian political dialog and
economic cooperation.
They also addressed the implementation of the Armenia-EU Cooperation
Action Plan. R. Kocharian said that Armenia attaches great importance
to efficient implementation of reforms within the framework of its
cooperation with Austria.
M. Calligaris stated that Austria is ready to assist Armenia with
reform implementation and transfer its experience and advanced methods
in specified directions.
