AZERBAIJAN CONVINCES HUNGARY TO EXTRADITE RAMIL SAFAROV

Today in Baku the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Hungary Elmar
Mammadyarov and Kinga Göncz discussed the issue of extradition of
Azerbaijani Officer Ramil Safarov, who is currently carrying his
punishment for murdering Armenian Officer Gurgen Margaryan.
Mammadyarov expressed confidence that the leadership of Hungary will
take into account the position of the Azeri side, which, in his words,
reduces to "a just approach to the question."
The Hungarian Foreign Minister noted that the Justice Ministers of
teh two countries will discuss teh issue in the framework of the
Azerbaijani Justice Minister's visit to Budapest in June.
