TWO REPORTERS SENTENCED IN AZERBAIJAN

Editor and editor-in-chief of "Muksalifet" daily became the recurrent
media victims of pressure in Azerbaijan. They were sentenced to 30
months of imprisonment, according to the claim of one of the parliament
deputies of Azerbaijan.
Seven reporters are in prisons of Azerbaijan at present. The
international institutions have repeatedly expressed their concern
about the pressure and violence against media in Azerbaijan.
