GERMAN PARTY TO GO ON WIDENING AND STRENGTHENING TIES WITH KARABAGH

The Nagorno-Karabagh Republic President Arkady Ghoukassian received
a delegation of the representatives of Germany's political, public
and business circles headed by Eckhart Stratenshulte, the Director
of Berlin's European Academy.
According to the information DE FACTO received at the NKR President's
Press Office, in the course of the meeting held last Saturday Arkady
Ghoukassian underscored due to such contacts Nagorno-Karabagh, deprived
of various European rostrums, had the opportunity to present its past
and present to the international community. The NKR President stated
the Nagorno-Karabagh people were ready to build their future on the
ground of democratic values and expressed hope that the NKR would
receive understanding and support of the international community.
Doctor Eckhart Stratenshulte noted the meetings of the delegation's
members with the representatives of the Nagorno-Karabagh's leadership,
public and business circles enabled them to receive more information
about public, political, and social, economic situation in the
country. He added the German party would go on widening and
strengthening ties with Karabagh.
