KIRISHI, MAY 22, NOYAN TAPAN. The 6th stage meetings took place on
May 21 at the international youth tournament of chess being held in
the city of Kirishi, the marz of Leningrad. Avetik Grigorian won over
Sergey Zhigulko (Belarus) and Zaven Andriasian was defeated by Yan
Nepomnjashchy (Russia).
Yan Nepomnjashchy and Negi Parimarjan (India) are the leaders with
4.5 points each. Z. Andriasian and A. Grigorian occupy the 3rd and
4th horizontals with 4 points each.
