FIXED PAYMENTS TO BE RECONSIDERED IN SOME BUSINESS SECTORS

YEREVAN, MAY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. The institution of fixed payments
should be revised and developed in Armenia because fixed payments
should be changed as a resuilt of changes in prices of goods and
serviceas. Deputy Head of the RA State Tax Service Armen Alaverdian
told reporters during the May 24 briefing that fixed payments in
public catering, gasoline, cigarette, gas and gambling business
sectotrs need to be reconsidered. It was noted that fixed payments
in profitable sectors will be revised starting from December.
According to A. Alaverdian, the real estate market (purchase and sale),
car sale, taxi servives and apartment repairs are considered as risky
sectors in terms of taxation.
