The Karabakh conflict should be settled by the conflicting sides,"
the Foreign Minister of Slovenia Dimitrij Rupel said in an interview
with "Trend."
"Armenia and Azerbaijan are neighbors. This is a fact. Both parties
will benefit if the conflict is resolved, and I'm sure my friends
in the region understand it," Rupel declared. Simultaneously,
he underlined that the conflict should be settled in a peaceful
way. Europe can play an important role in the settlement of frozen
conflicts. "W can help by drawing the attention of the international
community to those questions, the region, as well as on the
opportunities of cooperation in the sphere of economy."
