HIS HOLINESS ARAM I RECEIVES THE DEPUTY GENERAL SECRETARY OF WCC
Catholicos Aram I received the Deputy General Secretary of the World Council
of Churches (WCC), Mr. Georges Lemopoulos, in the Catholicosate of Cilicia's
Antelias headquarters on October 31. Ecumenical Officer of the Catholicosate
Bishop Nareg Alemezian and Carla Khijo also attended the meeting.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the present day challenges of
the Ecumenical movement, particularly in relation to the future projects of
the World Council of Churches.
