IRAN'S POSITION ON NAGORNO KARABAKH SETTLEMENT IS UNCHANGED, IRANIAN DEFENCE MINISTER SAYS

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 7, NOYAN TAPAN. RA Defence Minister Mikayel
Haroutiunian, on November 7, met with Major-General Mostafa Mohammad
Najjar, Iranian Minister of Defence, who is in Yerevan on a three-day
official visit. Issues related to various spheres of Armenian-Iranian
cooperation, current state and prospect of cooperation were discussed
during the meeting.
Emphasizing the high level of relations between Armenia and Iran, the
parties expressed readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation
and to activize mutual visits. Opinions over a number of regional
and international problems were exchanged.
Speaking about the Nagorno Karabakh settlement, Mostafa Mohammad
Najjar mentioned that Iran's position in that issue is unchanged,
that is, problem's peaceful settlement.
