LARGE SUM NEEDED TO PUBLISH BOOK

Eduard Militonyan, the head of publishing agency of the Ministry of
Culture, said, "This year the state disposed 135mln. Drams and we
must publish 124 name books by state order." He said that 30 name
books are already published mainly in cultural themes.
Mr. Militonyan mentioned that other books like translations, fictions,
popular scientific and books for children will be published by state
order, too. He added that children's books will be educative, as well
as entertaining. Mr. Militonyan said that 135mln.
Drams are not a large sum of money, as for publishing one volume of
children's encyclopedias 20mln. Drams are needed.
