    Russia & CIS Military Newswire
    November 8, 2007 Thursday 9:46 AM MSK

Another train with military equipment and other property of Russia's
12th Military Base in Batumi, Georgia, has left for Russia, Col. Igor
Konashenkov, an aide to the Russian Army Commander-in-chief, told
    Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.

"The train left for Russia on Thursday morning. It will take to Russia
12 vehicles and 55 tons of property," Konashenkov said.

The equipment has been fully inspected by Georgians, he said.

"It is the last train to leave Georgia for Russia. But another one
will leave Batumi in mid-November for Russia's 102nd Military Base in
Gyumri (Armenia)." "Thus, all military equipment and property of the
Russian military bases will have been taken out of Georgia," he said.

In 2007, over 500 pieces of military equipment (about 350 trucks and
over 150 armored vehicles), as well as nearly 2,000 tons of property
were taken to Russia from the Russian military bases in Georgia,
    Konashenkov said.
