President, Israeli leader Shimon Peres touched upon the Armenian
issue and the Armenian Genocide resolution.
"Israel has always supported and will support Turkey's proposal to
form a joint commission of historians. It would be logical to assess
events of the early 20th century basing on a historical research,"
he said, Yerkir online reports.
