SABENA TECHNICS SIGNS WITH ARMAVIA, CARRIES OUT S7 MODS

Sabena technics has extended its support to Armenian company Armavia
as its work for Russian airline S7 nears completion.
Under the expanded agreement, Sabena technics will provide engineering,
component and airframe support for the A319 corporate jet Armavia
plans to enter into service in December, for operation for the
Armenian state.
Sabena technics already maintains Armavia's A320 family aircraft,
and it has worked with Armavia to train line maintenance technicians
at the operator's Yerevan, Armenia, facility.
Meanwhile, the avionics modifications and C check inspections Russian
airline S7 picked Sabena technics to perform are progressing on
schedule, the MRO said in a statement. A third of the work that began
in October on nine of S7's A319s has been completed, according to
Sabena technics. It plans to finish up the modifications in December.
