PRIME MINISTER APPLIES TO POLICE TO RECEIVE CERTIFICATE ON PERMANENTLY RESIDING IN ARMENIA AND ON RA CITIZENSHIP

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN. RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsian
has applied to the Passport and Visa Department of the RA Police for
receiving certificates on permanently residing in Armenia for ten
years and on RA citizenship. Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed
about it on November 28 by the Press Service of the RA Police. Tigran
Karapetian, the Chairman of the People's Party, has also applied to
that department for the same purpose. In total, ten citizens have
already applied to the department. The application of Orinats Yerkir
(Country of Law) party Chairman Artur Baghdasarian has been already
sustained, and the application of Nor Zhamanakner (New Times) party
Chairman Aram Karapetian has been dismissed.
The applications of first RA President Levon Ter-Petrosian, former
world boxing champion Israyel Hakobkokhian, and Chairman of the
National Unity Party Artashes Geghamian had been sustained earlier.
