COMMITTEE TO ANNOUNCE REASONS FOR HIGHER PRICES ON WHEAT, FLOUR, AND OTHER PRODUCTS

The economic protection state committee will hold a regular session
tomorrow. As informed by committee press secretary Armine Udumyan,
the session will discuss the results of studies conducted on wheat,
flour, vodka, ethyl alcohol markets. The session will also discuss
several application-complaints as well as measures against several
economic units who failed to submit required information.
In the course of recent one month, the prices of all food products,
including flour, bread, oil have gone up. To note, our republic has
had rich harvest of wheat this year. Experts differ in their opinion
on explanations of the situation. Some have no explanation at all.
The state statistics service has not sumed up the data on how much the
prices of food products have gone up in the course of recent one month.
