    Oskanyan granted Dean's Medal

Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan, in recent days, gave a speech at the
Fletcher Diplomatic School of Tafts University in Boston. In
impressive ceremonies, he was granted the Dean's Medal.

The ministry's press service reported that before that, Oskanyan gave
a speech in New York at the UN General Assembly. Philippine and
Pakistani sponsors organized this session, about peace between
    religions and peoples.

That same day, the foreign minister met with the Minsk group
co-presidents. Talk turned to the Karabakh conflict, about those
issues causing disagreement among the parties to the conflict. They
also went over questions relating to the co-presidents' recent visit
    to the conflict region.

On October 4, Oskanyan met with US State Department representative,
Nicholas Burns. According to the same sources, they talked about
relations between the two countries, the Karabakh peace process, and
    Armenian-Turkish relations.
