RA PRESIDENT WELCOMES PROGRAMS IMPLEMENTED IN ARMENIA WITH ASSISTANCE OF FIFA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Robert Kocharian, the President of
the Republic of Armenia, received Zep Blater, the Chairman of FIFA,
and Michel Platini, the Chairman of UEFA, on October 16 and welcomed
the programs being implemented in Armenia in the direction of football
development with the assistance of FIFA. According to him, the joint
work already enjoys its fruits. "Irrespective of the fact that the
results are still small, they are visible," Robert Kocharian said.
According to the information provided to Noyan Tapan by the RA
President's Press Office, Zep Blater mentioned in his turn that the
Football Federation of Armenia conducts great work in the direction of
encouraging that kind of sport in the regions. He expressed readiness
to support the initiatives of the Armenian side.
