STARTING FROM JULY 1, 2008, STANDARD FORMS OF CONTRACTS FOR BIG ELECTRICITY CONSUMERS TO BE CHANGED

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Starting from July 1 of next
year, the standard forms of contracts for consumers using 6 and
10 tension and high-tension networks, except the population, will
be changed. The RA Public Services Regulatory Commission took this
decision on October 16.
According to the chairman of the commission Robert Nazarian, the
indicated contracts will regulate a number of relations: they will
determine the period for restoration of power supply and establish
the list of consumers, whose blackout is not allowed in connection
with scheduled work.
R. Nazarian said that consumers using 6 and 10 kw networks will have
the right to choose penalty for bad quality of electricity supplied.
