Armenian chess master Zaven Andriasyan has scored 0 in "Essent" chess
championship held in Dutch town of Hogoven. So, our sportsman is in
the last place, Azerbaijani chess player Shahriyar Mamediarov has won
the championship with 4.5 points. Van Velin representing Holland has
won the second place with 4 points. Ukrainian Ruslan Ponomariov has
closed the best three places with 3.5 points.
The championship is held within the framework of Essent Schaaktoernooi
chess 11th festival. This festival started in 1996. It ran from
October 12-20, this year.
