POLITICAL SCIENTIST: IRAN AN EXTRA GUARANTOR OF STABLE, PEACEFUL DEVELOPMENT OF ARMENIA

YEREVAN, October 23. /ARKA/. Iran becomes an extra guarantor of stable
and peaceful development of Armenia, independent political scientist
Sergey Shakariants told journalists.
According to him, Iran achieved a preliminary understanding on
increasing the capacity of Iran-Armenia gas pipeline and making it
an export pipeline.
"In fact, Iran assumes some responsibility of becoming a guarantor of
stable and peaceful development of Armenia, that is why the presidents
of Armenia and Iran have met with each other three times this year
only," the political scientist said.
He also pointed out that the President of Iran is to visit Moscow
and the dates of the visit are currently determined.
The President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been in Armenia for
two days.
