    President - Ambassador

Azerbaijan, Baku / Òrend corr S. Aghayeva, K. Ramazanova / Turkish
Prime Minister Receb Tayyip Erdogan will discuss the problem on the
Kurdistan Workers Party (PPK) with Azerbaijani President Ilham
Aliyev, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Huseyn Avni Karslioglu said
    on 28 October.

Turkish Government launches a military operation in northern Iraq
    against Kurdish separatists.

The negotiations between the Turkish Prime Minster and Azerbaijani
President will take place during Erdogan's Baku visit intended for
participation in the 11th congress of Turkic countries and
organizations scheduled for November, the Ambassador said.

`We are not at asking Azerbaijan for military assistance. We are able
to cope with the problem,' the Ambassador said when commenting on the
calls of several Azerbaijani MPs to render military assistance to
    Turkey.

The situation about settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be discussed during the visit,
Erdogan's assistant Ali Sarikaya said to Trend. `Solution of the
problem persisting between Turkey and Armenia is contingent on
settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. Armenia should vacate
    Azerbaijani territories,' he said.
