    TWO DAYS ARE LEFT

The society in Karabakh is waiting for the inauguration of the
    president.

The ceremony of inauguration will take place on September 7, probably
at the House of Officers of Stepanakert. It will apparently be followed
by replacements. First the question of prime minister will be solved,
then the government will be appointed. People expect replacements
of not only ministers but also junior officials. The expectations
are great, especially regarding the agencies the leaderships of
which participated actively in the election campaign of the "common
candidate". The staffs of these agencies think their bosses will get
promoted. And all this creates an atmosphere of uncertainty.

"They say the president met with all the businessmen and instructed
them to pay their debts to the state budget," a 40-year-old lady said
at the hairdresser's. The mother of a first-form student said she had
heard next year the textbooks will be free. "They say the president
said those who let their apartments must pay taxes," said another
lady and added, "You can't believe anything you hear."

They say the day of the inauguration will be a real celebration. There
will be a big concert at the Square of Rebirth with invited stars.
