HOSPITAL WILL BE BUILT IN MARTAKERT

Armenia Foundation carries on the reconstruction of Martakert. The
director of the programs for Artsakh said in an interview with
karabakh-open.com said construction of the schools of the villages
of Kochoghut and Mataghis ended, and the school of the village of
Verin Horatagh is under construction.
The layout of water pipelines is also underway. The town of Martakert
and the village of Vank will be supplied with drinking water. The
4.8 km road between Drmbon and the bridge of Alashan is under repair.
Michel Tancrese, the director of the programs of Artsakh of the
foundation, says a change was made in the construction of the hospital
of Martakert. First they decided to repair the building, then it
turned out that it is more expedient to build a new building. Now
the project of the new hospital is being worked out. The construction
starts soon and will be co-funded by the Karabakh government.
The agricultural program of Martakert is rather effective. According
to the representative of the foundation, there is already an agreement
on sowing winter wheat on 800-850 ha of land.
The foundation provided the region with 4 ambulances, including 2
for the regional center and one for Vank and Haterk each.
