ARMENIA'S PICKED TEAM STARTS IN WRESTLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN BAKU

Today, Armenia's picked team starts a Free-style and Greco-Roman
Wresting World Championship in Baku.
To recall, 1200 sportsmen from 67 countries of the world will take
part in the Championship and the winners will get trip tickets for
the Summer Olympiad-2008 in Peking. The winner of the competitions
will receive $30,000. To note, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev
gave security guarantees to the Armenian sportsmen. However, the
issue of singing the Armenian National Anthem in case of victory of
the Armenian wrestlers in the competitions still remains open. To
also note, the Armenian delegation consists of 31 people (15 of them
are sportsmen, including 1 girl, the rest are doctors, trainers,
masseurs, journalists).
