Armenian wrestler captures third place in Baku
At the world's wrestling competition now taking place in Baku, seven
boys and one girl, Karine Shadoyan, took part in the free-style
competition. Panorma.am was informed about this from the secretary of
the youth and sport ministry, Yura Alexanyan. We remind that yesterday
Vahan Simonyan (55 Kg), Arman Karapetyan (60 Kg), and Patrick Kev (120
Kg), in the Greco-Roman style, also took part. The latter won third
place, earning him the right to participate in the olympic games in
Peking. The other two wrestlers were defeated. We point out that Arman
Adikyan (66 Kg) captured fourth place on September 17, earning him an
olympic rating.
