OPPOSITION LEADERS INSPIRED HOPE IN HAIRIKYAN

In a news conference on September 20 at the Hayeli the leader of the
National Self-Determination Union Paruir Hairikyan said in answer to
the question of Lragir.am regarding progress in the meetings of the
opposition leaders initiated by Paruir Hairikyan that the opposition
leaders meet almost every day, including on September 19. "I was
amazed. Yesterday I felt that something may come out of it," Paruir
Hairikyan says. According to him, he had never had this feeling
before. Paruir Hairikyan described his feeling and the reason for that
feeling by an example from football.

"When you see all the football clubs play and each team claim to send
their players to the national team, and when the other says something
else, it is criticized for ignorance, and so on. Then one day we hear
everyone say that in any case the best players must play in the
national team, even though the teams beat each others. I am telling it
figuratively. I witnessed something similar. They said this particular
one is not a politician, the other day they met together and I heard
them voice the same concern: our team is good, I love our team, but
the national team is more important and we want to offer our best
players if you agree to accept them. Yesterday I saw this and I think
it's good," Paruir Hairikyan says. He noted that they have decided not
to speak about the meetings and process much.
