Karabakh Leader Forms New Government

KARABAKH LEADER FORMS NEW GOVERNMENT

Yerevan, 25 September: The president of the Nagornyy Karabakh republic,
Bako Sahakyan, signed a decree on the appointment of members of
government today.

The composition of the new government is as follows:

Deputy prime minister and minister of agriculture - Armo Tsaturyan;

Minister of health - Armen Khachatryan;

Minister of justice - Artur Mosiyan;

Minister of foreign affairs - Georgi Petrosyan;

Minister and head of the government administration - Suren Grigoryan;

Minister of science and education - Vladik Khachatryan;

Minister of culture and youth - Norek Gasparyan;

Minister of defence - Movses Hakopyan;

Minister of social affairs - Narine Azatyan;

Minister of economic development - Benik Babayan;

Minister of urban development - Aleksandr Mamunts;

Minister of finance - Spartak Tevosyan, the presidential press service
of the NKR told Mediamax today.

According to another decree issued by the NKR president, the following
government agencies will be functioning under the NKR government:

The National Security Service, the state committee for the real estate
registry, the department for archive issues, the State Tax Service,
the department for issues of migration, refugees and repatriation, the
department of the environment and natural resources, the NKR police,
the state committee on water industry, the state committee on sports
and the rescue service.
