Tigran Garamyan, a chess player of Armenian nationality representing
France has scored 8 out of 9 possibilities in 15th open chess
championship in Greek city of Nikea winning the first award. Armenian
chess federation official web portal informs that Garamyan is followed
by Banikas from Greece, Petkov from Bulgary and Malakhatko representing
Belgium. One hundred forty one chess players take part in the open
championship in Nikea.
